Imagine a life without constant worrying about the uncertainties ahead or persistent anger and guilt about the hurts from the past. It’s my goal to help you experience freedom from your pain and begin approaching life from a perspective of gratitude, grace, and positivity. You don’t have to continue figuring out life alone.

I spent time working in an adolescent psychiatric hospital, and from 2011 - 2017, served as Director and Facilitator of a local chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA).  After completing a multi-year Pastoral Counseling program and internship, I had the opportunity to serve in a non-profit counseling center for three years, during which time I obtained Pastoral Counselor Board Certification. I have studied at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary's Leavell College, Luther Rice College & Seminary and Aidan University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Applied Theology & Christian Counseling and a Master of Arts (MA) in Christian Counseling.

My wife and I launched Freedom Path Counseling in 2018 to focus our complete attention on serving hurting people in the Gwinnett County where we’ve lived for over 40 years. It’s our desire to see struggling people experience healing and restoration in their lives.
