Mary Benton Prescott

My name is Mary Virginia Benton Prescott, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University (2016). I am a Certified Life Coach, a Board Certified Christian Counselor, and have post-master’s training in both addiction and trauma counseling.

I have experience working in clinical settings and as a school-based therapist, where I supported adolescents impacted by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). My work is grounded in empathy, active listening, reflective feedback, and unconditional positive regard.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and stress. I also work closely with adolescents and young adults facing academic, social, and family challenges. My background allows me to understand how past experiences shape thoughts, behaviors, and overall well-being.

As a Board Certified Christian Counselor, I offer faith-integrated counseling for those who desire it. I believe faith can be a powerful source of strength, healing, and guidance through life’s challenges.

My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I am passionate about helping you grow, develop healthy coping strategies, and move forward with clarity, resilience, and hope.
